We stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Miami Wynwood Design District. We were able to stay at this hotel free for 4 nights because we used our AMEX Hilton Honors points (note: Michael is my husband's name). We looked at all the hotels that were available in the location we were aiming for and we read tons of reviews. Cleanliness and good customer service were our top priorities. We picked this hotel because our hotel points covered the entire stay, the hotel was really nice inside and they had good staff. We didn't spend a ton of time in the hotel other than at night time because we were out and about most of the day. Everything was very clean and we were happy with our stay. Location wise, this hotel was a little tricky to leave because it is highly congested with traffic and you have to pay to park in their parking garage each day. But other than that, this hotel is a great choice if you are planning to spend most of your time elsewhere and really just need somewhere to stay.

​Rusty Pelican This is a must go if you are celebrating something special or if you just want fine dining and delicious food. We ate here for Valentine's Day. They had a 4-course menu that we could choose from. The restaurant decor and vibes were delightful. They also had a live saxophonist who played all night long and he went to each table to play part of a song. It was incredible! The food was also outstanding.

​Morgans Restaurant Amazing brunch spot with a beautiful outdoor patio. The food was absolutely delicious. I recommend the brioche french toast. If you know me, I'm a brioche french toast fanatic and Morgans put their foot in it. Their iced coffee was amazing too and so was everything else. Just go.

​Baia Beach Club If you want an amazing view and amazing food at the same time, this is the place to go. The food was so flavorful and well seasoned. This restaurant is located in the back of the Baia Beach Club.

​Doce Provisions This was a hidden gem. The inside looks small but wait till you go to the outside courtyard patio. It's like paradise and so is the food. The food here was so good we went there twice!

​Smith and Wollensky I'm definitely one to eat everything on my plate and I rarely ever need to take food to go. But when I tell you we each had three bites of this food and had to pack the rest up... in a good way. The food was so incredibly rich and out of this world delicious. Our tastebuds were satisfied and we were stuffed. Let me tell you, the next day leftovers hit even harder. This fine dining meal was better than Ruth's Chris. Must go.

​Mango's Tropical Cafe This was a dinner and a show all combined into one experience. We sat on the top floor and ordered a few meals. Most of the food was typical bar food. The drinks were good and they had multiple sizes of drinks. They even let you keep the drink glass. The performances were very entertaining with lots of live music, singing, and dancing. This is a great place for doing something fun at nighttime.

​Couples Massage at the Equinox inside The Four Seasons

We got a couples massage here and we had them add CBD oil during our massages. It was very relaxing especially after tons of traveling and uncomfortable seating. We always like to get massages a day or two into our trip. The spa is part of the Equinox fitness center and was a little hard to get to. But once you get to it, you're in for a treat.

Aventura Beach

This beach was recommended to us by a friend. It was about a 40 minute drive from our hotel but it was perfect because it was not extremely crowded. We had plenty of space to lay out and enjoy the view. The beach was clean, quiet, and peaceful.

​Mall - Aventura Mall

This mall was so luxurious. Every fancy store you could think of was in here. Whether you just want to window shop or grab a new Fendi bag, this mall is for you.

​Movies - Silverspot Cinema

It rained for a few hours while we were in Miami so to kill some time, we went to the movies to see Ant Man. This movie theatre was the fanciest looking theatre I've ever seen. You could order food and drinks inside the theatre directly to your seat also.

​Mall - The Shops at Midtown Miami

This was an gorgeous outdoor mall. It wasn't crowded and it was easy to walk around and get to the stores we wanted to see.
